We really didn't want to oil our beautiful soapstone, which is sooo beautiful, with flecks of gold, and 2-3" veins of jade looking solid pieces. We loved how it looked after wiping with water. After researching, and finding it would patina unevenly, we tried conventional mineral oil on a smaller piece...it darkened it way too much. We decided to splurge on your product, and are we glad we did! It darkens the stone just enough!! It looks as if we wiped it with water...but it doesn't evaporate!! We have yet to do the weekly oiling, it it does go back to its natural gray. We are SO happy with your product! It doesn't ruin the natural look, but enhances it! I would recommend it to anyone who is hesitant to oil their beautiful natural sandstone. Try it, if you don't like it, wait a week, and it will be back to its original state! Thank you!
